We had a blast this Christmas. Gage still isn't quite sure about Santa but he loved opening all of his presents this year. On Christmas Eve night we let Gage open one present, which were his Christmas PJs that he wore to bed that night. The next day we got up and opened presents and played for awhile. After that we headed over to Grandma Gore's house and had lunch and more presents. All in all it was a great day. Here are the pictures

Pumpkin Patch
Today we decided to take Gage to a pumpkin patch. We found Motley's Pumpkin Patch about 20 mins away and decided it looked like fun. Motley's originally started as a Christmas Tree farm and just recently started a pumpkin patch. They had so much to do that we thought we must check it out.
It was a great day for an outing and we had a blast. When we got there we decided to go on the hay ride first.
Gage wasn't quite sure what to make of it at first but seemed to have a great time.
Then it was time to pick out a wagon we wanted to use for the rest of the farm. Of course we had to have the red radio flyer wagon.
Next we started up to the pumpkin patch were were got to play with pumpkins and also got a chance to play in the hay.
On the way we saw a BIG spider
Daddy and Gage on the Motley wagon.
Playing in the hay
Next we went to the petting zoo where Gage was in awe of all the animals there, especially the goats.
Then we checked out some of the pumpkins up front
Then it was on to the pig races.
And before we left we had to swing
Gage had a blast doing all kinds of new things today. There was lots to see, from baby Christmas trees, to pumpkins, to all kinds of animals. He was a little afraid of the animals but still curious as to what they were. Gage tried to pick up all the pumpkins, even ones that weighed at least 3x his weight. He thought that the pigs were funny with all the noises that they made. Watching them run that track was fun. Never knew pigs could run so fast. Gage even got to pick his own pumpkin to bring home with him. He ended up with one more his size. All in all it was a great day.

First Birthday
We had Gage's birthday party on Sunday. It was at his Grandma Gore's house and there were lots of people there. Gage didn't quite know what to make of all those people together at the same time. He was a little shy and cranky at first but finally came around was the life of the party.
He really wasn't into opening his presents but just wanted to play with them once they had been opened.
Gage loved his cake!
It was a good time overall and Gage definitely had fun.
